Dr. Shannon Vann, DDS, Rural Hall Dentist

Background and Credentials

Dr. Shannon Dudley Vann grew up in Germanton and enjoys practicing dentistry near where she grew up. She graduated with highest distinction in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001 and was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa while completing her undergraduate studies. In 2005, she graduated with honors from The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. She has been practicing in Rural Hall since 2007, and is very involved in the community and organized dentistry. She is the past President of the Rural Hall Area Business Association, past President of the Forsyth County Dental Society, past Chair of the Forsyth Tech Dental Advisory Committee, and past President of the Second District of the North Carolina Dental Society. She has served in numerous leadership roles in all of the above organizations. Dr. Vann also volunteers at Community Care dental clinic, Missions of Mercy Dental Clinics, and Baptist Men Dental buses. She and her husband both actively serve on several committees at Ardmore Baptist Church, and her two sons keep her very busy.
